The problem
Finding a two-month stay is not like booking a hotel night. Guests care about quiet, commute, a gym, a high floor, a kitchen that works. Filters do not capture that. Conversations do.
What we built
A guest-facing assistant on top of a Customer 360: prior stays, stated preferences, browsing behaviour and context. It retrieves candidate homes, ranks them, and asks one clarifying question when it is unsure rather than guessing.
The trust layer
- Never shows a home that is unavailable for the requested dates, checked against live inventory.
- The price shown is the price charged. No estimates.
- No sensitive data in any reply, enforced by an output filter.
Results
More than 197,000 new users in the year, almost entirely organic, and 55% of guests book again. The assistant is now the main way guests find homes on estaie.
What this means for you
Customer-facing agents live or die on trust in small things: availability, price truth, privacy. Get those three right in code and the model can be generous with everything else.
